In order for us to keep our dogs skills up to scratch we need to train them in different areas and types of premises. If you have a bit of land or empty building that we can occasionally use to carry out dog training we would appreciate it. Anywhere near or around Gloucester would be great!

Following an alarm response to a clients premises during last night intruders were disturbed after having broken through the perimeter fence and attempting to gain access to a building. The intruders were spotted on camera and an NSGL Limited response team attended. The dog was used to search the area and discovered the points of entry. when they realised we were on site they made off. Once we arrived with the dog there only options are to run away or stay and take there chances. The intruder was tracked a short distance by the dog but the track was lost as the intruder got into a vehicle.

What are threat levels?

The system of threat levels has been created to keep you informed about the level of threat the UK faces from terrorism at any given time.

This system helps police and other law enforcement agencies decide how to allocate staff. The threat level represents the likelihood of an attack in the near future. More about the UK threat level system (Opens in a new window) on the MI5 website.

The five levels are:

• critical – an attack is expected imminently
• severe – an attack is highly likely
• substantial – an attack is a strong possibility
• moderate – an attack is possible but not likely
• low – an attack is unlikely
